Foliart at Polish Trash Design see you at Design September

Foliart at  Polish Trash Design see you at Design September

The purpose of Foliart is to promote an ecological lifestyle and motivation for waste treatment. The leitmotif is to change existing habits regarding the attitude to environmental protection and to change the handling of disposable plastic bags to explore hand-made crochet bags and other items suitable for multiple use.

Foliart mainly offers decorative and functional products intended for home and garden use, or fashion accessories, made one hundred percent from a suitably processed film by means of manual crocheting. The entire range is made of previously collected or purchased, disposable plastic bags in various colors and garbage bags (unused). The combination of ecological aspects - promotion of the idea of upcycling, that is, processing of objects or raw materials, which have been granted the status of rubbish, into an object of much higher value, both practical and artistic - is the key to the company's development. Foliart range mainly includes bags, pillows, picnic blankets, pot covers and bathroom or office organizers
